Jan Rigo came to DJing through listening. Growing up near Brussels and later settling in Ghent, music became a constant. A way to connect, reflect, and move forward. Introduced to club culture early on, he shaped his taste by following instinct rather than scenes or rules.
A music lover before becoming a DJ, Jan’s approach is guided by curiosity and care. His sets unfold as stories told without words. Warm, open, and gently unpredictable, they move through emotion and surprise without fixing on eras or genres. The focus is on creating a welcoming space where people can feel at ease, connect, and move together.
Production runs alongside this practice. In 2025, he founded Crate 17, a vinyl-only imprint that began as a personal diary for deeper cuts and long-term ideas. Both the label and his music reflect a slow, honest process, grounded in feeling and shared experience.
