2020 was certainly an eventful year for us all. For Stagent, it was a year of change and growth. Those of you that have been with us since the beginning of the project have seen how it has progressed over the past months, and we’re very thankful that you’ve chosen to be along for the ride!

We started the year with a different name - Mainstage. Unfortunately due to a legal conflict, we had to change our name from Mainstage to Stagent. While this posed a significant challenge for us, it also allowed us to grow into the company that we need to be to face 2021 head on. If you want to learn more, you can read the full story about the situation here.

We used the time that this year gave us to also develop our blogs page, which provides practical advice to artists and their teams alike. We spent a lot of time in 2020 writing blogs about the music industry, from most basic questions to specific expert knowledge. Whether you’re a booking agent or an artist, we’ve got something for you. Want to read more and learn about the music business? Check out our blogs page here.

This was also a year where we forged new partnerships and solidified our vision with them. Companies like Frontrow and Programic have joined us in creating the future of the music industry, and we are thrilled to work with them on building the future environment of music performance and making the lives of booking agents and artists easier.

After a year of hard work and building our platform, we are ready to enter 2021 with some new milestones in mind.

  • In January, we’ll begin the development of our iOS app, which will allow artists to take Stagent with them on the road, wherever they go.
  • In April, you will be able to take part in our public Beta, so you can finally see for yourself what we’ve been working on this whole time.

2021 will see the development and growth of Stagent into a fully functioning product that will be able to meet all of your artist management needs. We are very excited for the opportunities that 2021 has in store for all of us, and hope you join us for the ride! We thank you for your support, and look forward to making this journey with you.
